If you know me, you know I’m not a fan of fur bags. If you really know me, then you know I’m full of contradictions, too. Most importantly, it’s as sleek and flat as a fur bag can be, so it’s not ridiculously fluffy (which is why most furry satchels look so absurd). Nina Ricci has done mink right by designing it just like their lovely silk pouchette with irregular tiers for streamlined texture. A knotted leather strap, touch of grosgrain ribbon, and turn-lock closure keep it grounded. And I’m even willing to bet this fur is not wasteful; I’m sure it’s up-cycled (a euphemism for “made from scraps”) because the price is not outrageous for luxurious gray mink.
